FAUX CANOPY BED

BY USING WINDOW SHEARS (THAT I ALREADY HAD), NAILS AND A LITTLE TWINE I CREATED A FAUX CANOPY. MY FIRST ATTEMPT I TRIED USING 3M REMOVABLE HOOKS AND IT DID NOT WORK OUT SO WELL. SLOWLY BUT SURELY EVERYTHING FELL. I NAILED THE CANOPY TO THE CEILING INSTEAD.. IF I EVER WANTED TO TAKE IT DOWN I WOULD JUST PUDDY AND PAINT.

HERES WHAT I ENDED UP WITH...

FAR LEFT ON THE NIGHTSTAND, LOOKS TO BE A VASE BUT ITS ACTUALLY A CANDLE STICK I FLIPPED OVER AND SINCE IT HAD A HOLLOW CORE I USED IT AS A VASE

AS THE WEATHER GETS COLDER I ADD LAYERS OF BLANKETS AND PILLOWS TO COZY THINGS UP. THE QUILTED THROW IS FROM 'AT HOME AMERICA'

POTTERY BARN PILLOWS

PILLOWS AND BLANKETS IN A BASKET... ADDS TEXTURE, ENCOURAGES YOU GET COMFY AND COZY..ALSO, KEEPS THINGS OFF THE FLOOR.

LARGE PINE CONES FOR A TOUCH OF FALL (HOBBY LOBBY 40% OFF, I WILL BE RE-USING THEM FOR WINTER DECOR)

I NEED TO TWEEK THE CANOPY A LITTLE, ADD SOME THINGS BUT FOR NOW I THINK ITS A PRETTY NICE ADDITION TO THE ROOM.
